DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY 2007

Dear Friends in Christ,

Today was and is a "Glorious Day" in all ways specially for those who are devoted to the "Divine Mercy" as a 'Way of Life' and practice this devotion along with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and 3.00 Prayer in their Day to Day Lives.

I strongly believe that this is not just some "Secondary Devotion" but an integral aspect of Catholic Christian Living.

LENT 2007

Dear Friends in Christ,

We are in The Awesome Season of Lent.

Today, was the First Sunday of Lent.

I felt inspired as a "Catholic Blogger" to post these Links for your Spiritual Enrichment in this Holy Season.

A. From: http://www.jesus-passion.com

OBJECTIVES FOR LENT:

1) To confess and turn away from all sin in our lives through Penance/Confession and Prayer.

2) To increase our love for God by attending Mass and receiving the Body of Christ.

3) To increase our love for our neighbor by forgiving our neighbor their faults and by doing good works to help our neighbor and the community. This Lent ask God to give you the Grace to forgive those who have offended you the most.

4) To mortify the desires of the flesh through fasting and abstinence.

[ Lent is the period of 40 days including weekdays and Saturdays from Ash Wednesday, February 21st through Easter Saturday, April 7th.]

Awesome and Excellent Classical Music Blogs (Part 2)

Dear Friends,

Here are some more Classical Music Blogs which are truly out of this world.

My Apologies for my absence for quite some time.

Here they are.

http://operascherzo.blogspot.com/

http://musicoclasico.blogspot.com/

http://carlosb1975.blogspot.com/

http://estanochebarralibre.blogspot.com/

Note: I particularly recommend checking out the Posts of the Blogger at "Opera Scherzo" on a daily or on a weekly basis.

He is upbeat, positive, and always on the money with regard to his posts.

His Blog I must say is also "fabulous" along with the other Blogs that i have already mentioned in an earlier post as well as in this post.

If I do come across any more excellent Classical Music Blogs, I will post them in Part 3 of this ongoing series.

Although, some of these Blogs are in Spanish -- i personally love them and have had no problems whatsoever in understanding their posts.
